Porkkalanniemi is a newly built Nordic-style home completed in 2025, set along the rugged coastline of the Porkkala peninsula. Designed for up to eight guests, it combines modern architecture with a rare seaside location, where large windows frame open views of the sea and sky.

The main house includes three bedrooms and four bathrooms, with a guest cabin providing extra privacy and its own outlook toward the trees and water. Indoors, the kitchen and dining area connect naturally to the terraces outside, where guests can dine, relax, or take in the view.

By the shore, a heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi are positioned for direct sea views, with a private pier leading into the water for swimming or paddling.

The surrounding area is part of Porkkalanniemi, known for its rocky shoreline, birdlife, and walking trails that stretch toward Pampskatan and the Porkkalanniemi Nature Reserve. Cafés and small harbors nearby complement the sense of quiet coastal living, all within just over an hour from Helsinki.

Guests have exclusive access to the estate, free Wi-Fi, and parking. Complimentary coffee and tea is provided to enjoy at any time of the day.

No smoking inside: Please refrain from smoking inside the home.

Respecting The Neighbourhood: We are committed to responsible hosting and respecting our local community. We kindly ask guests to keep noise at a considerate level to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. To support this, the property is equipped with noise monitoring devices that measure sound levels only. Your privacy is fully respected.

Please note that the pool is heated will be operational from June until September. The depth is 1.5 - 1.55m, children must be under adult supervision whilst using the pool. To protect the pool liner, please avoid bringing sharp object to the pool.

From The Owner

When we first saw this place in early 2020, the world had gone quiet. Yet here, everything felt alive, the sea, the wind, the rocks, even the pines leaning toward the water. We knew right away it was something special. The view of the Rönnskär lighthouse, the narrow inlets, and the rugged shoreline felt unlike anywhere else. The land has its own story too. It was once part of a larger estate granted in the 1600s to a harbour pilot — a “luotsi” in Finnish — who guided ships safely through these tricky coastal passages. The same family cared for it for generations before it came to us. From the terrace or sauna, you can watch ships pass far out at sea, their lights tracing the horizon while the lighthouse keeps its steady glow. The sense of space and history here is remarkable, it feels close to nature yet deeply rooted in time. Just beyond the property, the Porkkalanniemi Nature Reserve and the cliffs of Pampskatan offer incredible views and walking trails, and the birdwatching tower at Lähteelä is a short trip away. And even though it feels remote, Helsinki is just about an hour’s drive from here. Every visit reminds us how rare it is to find a place where sea, forest, and sky meet so naturally. If you’re lucky, you might spot a seal resting on the rocks or a sea eagle circling overhead, both as quiet reminders of how alive this coastline still is.

Located on the southern edge of Kirkkonummi, the Porkkala Peninsula (Porkkalanniemi) offers wonderful coastal hikes combining pine forests, rugged cliffs, and sweeping Baltic Sea views. It’s a highlight among Kirkkonummi’s protected recreation areas, with several easy-to-moderate loop trails, like Pampskatan Trail(1.4 km), Teleberget trail (2.2 km), and Vetokannas Trail(2.1 km), each featuring parking, campfire sites, restrooms, and viewpoint signage.
