Tallbacka, FinlandMerimaa is a spacious seaside home in Loviisa, offering room for up to twelve guests across four bedrooms and generous shared spaces. Set between forest and sea, it combines light-filled interiors with direct access to the shoreline, creating a natural connection to the coastal landscape.
Large windows frame open views of the water, while a sauna, fireplace, and sheltered terrace bring comfort in every season. A private dock and sandy beach invite guests to swim, fish, or simply spend quiet moments by the sea, with a jacuzzi offering an additional place to take in the scenery.
Inside, bright spaces and natural materials reflect the calm of the surroundings. Upstairs, the bedrooms and balcony overlook the coast, with the forest and sea visible from nearly every window. Around the house, berry bushes and walking paths add to the sense of being close to nature.
Merimaa offers a well-balanced setting for family gatherings, longer stays, and time spent near the water, where everyday comfort meets the easy rhythm of Finland’s southern coast.

Practicalities
Please note that curtains and blackout blinds are currently under the process of being installed on the windows and are not available yet.
There is no running water in the beach sauna cabin's shower during the winter. The indoor sauna is operational all year-round.
In the Spring to Summer, Merimaa has an abundant rhubarb plant to make crisps, pies and crumbles. From July to September there are blueberries overflowing on 1 1/2 acres of land. Lingon berries come in August through September.
Guests have exclusive access to the estate, free Wi-Fi, and parking. Complimentary coffee and tea is provided to enjoy at any time of the day.
No smoking inside: Please refrain from smoking inside the home.
No parties: We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits.
