Kalksved is a modern seafront villa just 33 km from Helsinki, set only 20 metres from the water. Spread across three buildings, it offers flexible spaces for families or small groups, with four bedrooms, several living areas, and a sauna overlooking the sea.

The main villa features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. A second lounge opens directly onto the large terrace, providing access to the wood-fired sauna and jacuzzi. The upper villa and guesthouse add extra sleeping and living areas, giving everyone space and privacy.

Outdoors, a wide terrace, private pier, and sandy beach create easy access to the water. Guests can swim, paddle, or take the rowing boat out into the bay, then relax in the hammock or by the fire pit. Kalksved combines modern design, comfort, and direct sea access for a relaxed coastal stay close to the capital.

Kalksved is located in southern Sipoo, close to the archipelago coastline and within reach of both forested landscapes and sea views. The region is dominated by mixed woodland, rocky shoreline, and coastal bays, making it well suited for hikes, kayaking, and quiet walks along the water.

To the south and east lie the small islands and inlets that form part of Sipoo’s archipelago, while inland you’ll find forest paths and local trails leading toward the larger Sipoonkorpi National Park. The nearby village of Söderkulla provides access to shops, cafés, and services, and further connections lead toward Helsinki and Porvoo. Kalksved offers a setting where rural calm, coastal scenery, and access to nature come together in one place.

Sipoonkorpi National Park

Sipoonkorpi National Park lies just outside Helsinki and showcases southern Finland’s forests, lakes, and quiet trails. For an easy walk, the Byabäcken Nature Trail (1.6 km) winds through forest and fields, while the Kalkinpolttajanpolku Trail (4.8 km) climbs Högberget hill with views and campfire spots. Other options, such as Knuters Trail (3.8 km) and the Storträsk–Gumböle loop (2.8 km), pass lakes and forest paths. Most routes suit families year-round, though some include steeper or rocky sections.
