Saunamäki Resort is situated in Särkisalo, Finland, within the Kaukassalo archipelago. Known for its historic apple orchard, the area was shaped in the early 1900s by Frans Saunamäki and his son, Toivo Kalervo, who planted thousands of apple trees and transformed the rugged island into a thriving orchard.
Easily accessible by car without the need for ferry connections, Saunamäki is just 30 minutes from Salo, an hour from Turku, and under two hours from Helsinki. Guests arriving by boat can dock directly at the private pier and moorings.
In recent years, the area has been redeveloped into a modern resort while preserving its heritage.
Now it features 14 holiday villas, a marina, padel and beach volleyball courts, a cave sauna, and a spacious sandy beach, offering a balance of comfort and natural beauty.
